Dermal fillers
Restores the volume time takes away, in the places that actually change the face.
Volume, not
inflation.
Faces do not sag first, they deflate. Filler puts hyaluronic acid back where bone and fat have receded, which lifts the skin above it. Placed well, it reads as rest, not as work.
The lips are the smallest part of this conversation. Cheeks, temples and the jawline usually change a face more, and more quietly.
Hyaluronic acid filler is dissolvable. That matters: if you do not like it, or something goes wrong, it can be removed.
The first days after.
Written down, so you do not have to remember it in the car. The full list, for every treatment, is on the safety page.
- Cold compress for swelling: ten minutes on, ten off, for the first day.
- Sleep on your back for two nights.
- No massage, facials or dental work on the area for two weeks.
- Call the studio at (561) 205-2118 straight away for skin that turns pale or mottled, or pain that gets worse. Outside opening hours, call 911.
Before you book
Is it per syringe or per millilitre?
Per syringe, and a standard syringe is one millilitre. Lips are usually one. Cheeks often need one per side.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream first, and most filler contains anaesthetic. Uncomfortable rather than painful.
Can it be removed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler is dissolved with hyaluronidase. Ask any clinic whether they keep it on site.
What is the serious risk?
Vascular occlusion, where filler affects a blood vessel. It is rare and it is an emergency, which is why who injects you and what they keep in the room matters more than the price.
Will it migrate?
Overfilling and repeated top-ups before the previous product has gone are the usual causes. Conservative volumes and honest reviews prevent it.
