Botox & Xeomin
Softens the lines you make when you smile, frown or squint, without taking your expression away.
What it does,
and what it does not.
Neurotoxin relaxes a specific muscle so the skin above it stops creasing. It works on the lines you make with movement. It does not fill hollows or lift sagging skin, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you the wrong thing.
Treated well, nobody can tell you have had it done. They notice you look rested. That result comes from dosing conservatively the first time and adjusting two weeks later, not from a heavy first session.
We use Botox and Xeomin. Units are not interchangeable between brands, so a price per unit only means something next to the product name.
The first days after.
Written down, so you do not have to remember it in the car. The full list, for every treatment, is on the safety page.
- Stay upright for four hours. No lying down, rubbing or tight headbands.
- No exercise, sauna or alcohol for 24 hours.
- Keep makeup off the injection points for 12 hours.
- Come back at two weeks. The result is final then, and that is when we adjust.
Before you book
How many units will I need?
Typical first-treatment ranges are 10 to 20 units for forehead lines, 15 to 25 for the frown lines between the brows and 10 to 24 for crow's feet. A lip flip is usually 4 to 6. Jaw slimming is higher, around 20 to 30 per side. Your muscle strength decides the final number.
Do you charge per unit or per area?
Per unit. You are told the number before treatment and the total is units multiplied by the unit price.
Will I look frozen?
Only if you ask to be. Frozen is a dosing choice, not a side effect.
What are the side effects?
Small bruises, swelling and tenderness at the injection points, sometimes a mild headache. Less commonly a heavy brow or slight asymmetry, which settles as the product wears off.
Can I exercise afterwards?
Leave it four hours before lying flat, rubbing the area or a hard workout.
