Body contouring
Four different machines, four different jobs. The honest part is knowing which one you actually need.
Not a weight
loss programme.
Every device here works on a stubborn area in someone already close to their target weight. None of them is a substitute for losing weight, and any clinic promising otherwise is taking your money.
Cryolipolysis freezes and destroys fat cells in a treated pocket, around a fifth to a quarter per cycle. Muscle stimulation with radiofrequency builds and defines while heating fat. Ultrasonic cavitation breaks down localised fat for the lymphatic system to clear. Velashape combines infrared, radiofrequency, massage and suction for circumference and the look of cellulite.
At the consultation we will tell you which of these fits your body and which is a waste of your money.
The first days after.
Written down, so you do not have to remember it in the car. The full list, for every treatment, is on the safety page.
- Massage the treated area gently for a few minutes daily for a week after cryolipolysis.
- Drink more water than usual for three days; the lymphatic system does the clearing.
- Light walking is good. Hard exercise can wait 24 hours.
- Numbness after fat freezing is normal and can last a few weeks.
Before you book
Will I lose weight?
No. These treatments change shape in a specific area. The scale barely moves.
How much fat does freezing remove?
Around 20 to 25 percent of fat cells in the treated pocket per cycle, over eight to twelve weeks.
Does it hurt?
Cold and pulling for the first ten minutes of cryolipolysis, then numb. Muscle stimulation feels like an intense involuntary workout.
Will the fat come back?
Destroyed fat cells do not return, but the remaining ones still grow if you gain weight.
Who is not a candidate?
Pregnancy, certain hernias, metal implants in the area for some devices, and anyone hoping this replaces a diet.
